The music you all play has a very relaxing tone, which is one of my favorite types of music. I just wanted to say again ever since I’ve seen your concert on June 22nd I’ve been even more amazed with Big Band music, Swing, etc.
The different combinations of instruments make the music soothing to the ear. And I realize that not many young people enjoy this kind of music, but let me say I will never EVER forget you guys !
The music was fantastic and it brought back great memories of my late father and I listening to Glenn Miller records when I was growing up. I just want to say what an amazing performance at the Colchester concert on Oct.11th.
My son has been a huge fan of Glenn Miller and was delighted to attend your show.
It was very emotional for me also, as I remember these songs playing of our stereo as a child. I hope we can see you again next year in Lexington, MI.
Please let me know if you perform in our area again.
I’m hoping on learning In the Mood, Artie Shaw’s Frenesi, and many more.
The thing that impressed me the most was the energy and 150% effort that Nick gave.I am so happy I was able to see my all time FAVORITE jazz band live 🙂 I may have been the only 17 year old in the audience but I didn’t care- In The Mood was my absolute favorite song and I am so excited I got to see you guys play!I even got to talk to the trombone section (my instrument also). For those of us who love the sounds of the Big Band Era, your shows are always a treat. It is the second time for her from the last year, and she is saying that she wants to hear again next year. Please keep coming back we just love big band and GMO!!Third year in a row my wife and I attended and as always the evening was fantastic.
From the videos I have seen on Yout Tube and from that night – its as if every show is Nick’s first and last – what I mean by that is that he gives it his all.
